I have studied in University of Nottingham Ningbo so I don’t have any experience in Malaysia’s campus. I am completely clueless about its teaching quality and atmosphere in general. However, Nottingham offers the same education in all three campuses and even though I can’t speak about how the teacher or the students might be, I can give you a general view in what to expect in the course you have been offered.
Nottingham also offers summer programmes, schoolarships and interships where you can get further education outside of the classrooms and fill your CV with experience and therefore have greater opportunities in your field of study.
This particular university is also seen as a professional and prestigious education center as most of their teaching stuff are published researchers and even conducted Nobel Prize projects. Rankings are in your favour as various studies showed that undergraduates on Nottingham later become CEOs and it’s included amongst the top 150 best universities in the world
Now, it is your choice to accept or not the offer. I think that computer science overall can be a very hard course so it would be best to conduct it on a place you will feel sure about.
My teachers in Nottingham were always very helpful and the library has online resources for pretty much every article on Internet. But don’t rush it and think things through. I hope that this information was somehow helpful! I also think that studying abroad one year can be a very enriching experience. If you have the chance, do it, trust me.

They tend to focus a lot on engineer and science programmes and have plenty of resources to conduct your own projects. Studying here can have many benefits in your future career choices, for example if you decide to stay in the UK and take the British Computer Society exam, you will be freed from taking part one and two of the test
