Ghanaians were shocked and emotional over the weekend when the cute kid star of the iconic Gino tomato paste advert made a rare public appearance, and this time round, she is all grown up.
Keira is the first-born of Ghanaian actor Majid Michel and wife Virna Michel, who attended a family birthday with them on Sunday, June 29, 2025, in Accra.
It was one of the rare occasions when Keira has been spotted in the last few years as the event was organised to celebrate the 90 th birthday of Grandma Victoria.
Keira could be spotted in a TikTok video posted by @kullestblogs standing proudly beside her popular father, younger sister Zara Michel and other relatives when they joined the guests to sing and cheer at the cake-cutting ceremony. The fans immediately mentioned that Keira was mature and emulated her father in looks.
One user wrote: She is all grown up, so graceful and a tall young lady. The Gino princess is a queen who is now.
The Revival of a Childhood Hero
Keira Michel became a household name many years ago after she featured in the now infamous Gino advert that was being aired nationwide in Ghana.
