Ariana Grande is sending a message: it is not the end of her love affair with music.
This week, the pop superstar, 32, managed to set the record straight amid industry speculation that she is considering leaving her life in music behind to pursue Hollywood.
After Ariana confirmed that she will be giving her voice to one of the characters in the upcoming animated film adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s Oh, the Places You’ll Go!, fans became nervous.
However, Grande was quick enough to clarify the situation on Instagram on Wednesday, July 16, and told fans that music will always remain the centre of her being.

It is so foolish of you all to think that because I have my hands full of many things that I will leave singing & music…!!!” She wrote with a spectacular video of her at the 2024 Met Gala.
Grande added, It has always been and remains my lifeline. There must be space found to make room of all of it.”
Pop Star, but on Her Terms
The Grammy-winning artist has had quite a ride over the past couple of years. Her last album, Eternal Sunshine, was released in 2024 to critical acclaim, but her increasingly busy acting career has had some fans questioning whether she was leaving behind her musical past.
Grande stressed that although her musical path might seem to be altered now, the love to music is as deep as ever.
“It may not be as it used to be, but I like the appearance of it in my mind much better. I am enjoying it. I am happy and thrilled and energized.”
A full swing Hollywood Career
Grande announced earlier this week that she will voice a character in Oh, the Places Youll Go!, directed by Wicked filmmaker Jon M. Chu.
She rejoiced at the news with a lot of excitement and stated, I love this book, I love this script, I love the beautiful world of Dr. Seuss, and I love this incredible group of creative human beings.
Her resume as an actor is just blossoming. On November 21, 2025, Grande will reprise her role as Glinda in Wicked: For Good, which will premiere in theatres.
She is also co-starring alongside Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller in Meet the Parents 4, making her just as much of a Hollywood favourite as a music legend.
Amidst all this onscreen action, no wonder some fans were alarmed over her musical future. But Ariana gawds everyone to chill out; there is more music coming.
A Surprise Tour in the Offing
Grande did not only disregard the rumours, but she also provided fans with something to look forward to. Suggesting a mini tour, she said, “So I am planning to sing to you all next year. However small. I love you.”
It is good news to fans who have missed seeing Ariana on a big tour since her Sweetener World Tour ended in 2019.
Even though the singer has had her hands full with acting and other projects, she has made it clear; a live performance is still very much on her radar.
Stardom and the Balance
A candid message by Grande opened the book on the balancing of several creative interests. She wrote, “I am compromising between projects and things that I adore doing—many things—and doing it my way.“
It is a welcome look at the mind of one of the most successful artists in the world, who has mastered the art of living in the world of fame on her own terms, without compromising on her creative spirit.
Ariana has pursued music in a career that is growing to include movies and voice overs, but Ariana is still focused on music as her first love.

It does not matter whether it is on the big screen, behind the microphone, or on the stage; Grande is ready to strike in her own step, and her fans are ready to jump with her.
